Divorce
Divorce is the mechanism by which a marriage is brought to an end. Divorce will divorce the parties. It will not, of itself, resolve financial issues between them.
A straightforward divorce can be concluded within four months if all parties work at the same speed and there are no delays at the Court. The procedure is relatively straightforward and no-one should have to attend Court, if the case is uncontested and if all matters are agreed by the parties themselves.
Sadly, divorce involves the use some jargon. To go to our page identifying the most commonly-used divorce jargon, please click here.
For straightforward cases, we can offer a fixed fee for an uncontested divorce - please contact Elizabeth Hodder at eah@gross.co.uk or Julie McDonald at jm@gross.co.uk for further details.
