Sohan Sidhu

Sohan Sidhu is a solicitor and Partner in the firm's Immigration Department.
He practices at the firm's main office in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk and also at the firm's office in London W1.

Sohan has been practising Immigration law since 1997 and has previously headed Immigration Departments across firms in West London and Reading, Berkshire.

Sohan's practice encompasses business-related applications including all applications under the Points Based System (Tier 1 General extensions, Entrepreneurs, Investors, Students and Post-Study Workers). Sohan also advises and assists businesses in applying for Employers Licences and in making applications to the UK Border Agency for businesses looking to employ non EU nationals based abroad and in the UK.

His business clients have included major pharmaceutical companies, oil and gas corporations, software development companies, medical practices, nursing homes and restaurants.

In addition, Sohan has extensive experience in advising on personal immigration issues and he enjoys an enviable success rate. Sohan has represented clients before Immigration Tribunals and has provided training and seminars on the subject of immigration law. He has been involved in several high profile cases including in the field of human rights and has represented family members of senior international politicians. Sohan is accredited with the Legal Services Commission as a senior caseworker and as a supervisor.
