Profile: Gary De'Ath

Gary is a lawyer with over 25 years' experience. He is responsible for the firm's wills, trusts and probate department which includes:-

• Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney and Living Wills
• Administration of Estates and Trusts
• Tax
• Receiverships under the Court of Protection
• Financial Issues for the more mature client including care costs
• Charities

Gary is a long standing member of both STEP and the CLA and is an acknowledged national expert in charity law having handled numerous projects ranging from a multi-million regeneration project in the South West of England to the relief of poverty in Africa. He is an honorary legal advisor to the Institute of Fundraising and visiting speaker to a number of national bodies on charity law issues.

When not at work as a lawyer, Gary pursues interests as honorary consul to the Coté d'Ivoire.
