Part-time Receptionist / Administration Assistant required (Thursday and Friday only)

 We are looking for someone to work on Thursdays and Fridays to cover our front of house sole Receptionist role.

You will be answering incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors and clients and receiving deliveries. When Reception is quiet you will also be expected to assist with administrative duties.

This role is a job-share with another staff member who works Monday to Wednesday and some flexibility to cover holidays / sickness is desirable.

The job would suit a self-starter with previous reception or customer facing experience; good humoured and able to stay calm when under pressure.

Accounts Manager/Legal Cashier – Minimum 2 years Legal Cashiering experience

Experienced Legal Cashier required for the standalone role of Accounts Manager which encompasses Legal Cashiering and Payroll duties.

The candidate should have at least 2 years’ experience as a Legal Cashier using a computerised Legal Accounts Software package (we use Indigo) as well as recent working knowledge of payroll using Sage 50 Payroll.

We are looking for a proactive self-starter who is able to look at our existing systems and streamline and improve where possible.

Salary will be commensurate with experience.

Property Lawyer (mixed Residential and Commercial) – Minimum 2 years’ PQE

We are seeking an experienced Property lawyer with solid experience to manage a busy and challenging caseload. The split of work is generally 65% residential and 35% commercial property work.

In addition the successful Candidate will actively immerse themselves in business development initiatives, building and maintaining client relationships and promoting the department and practice as a whole.

The Candidate:

  • Must be a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive with a minimum of two years’ post qualification experience, preferably gained within private practice
  • Will be technically competent with solid Property experience
  • Will have excellent communication and client care skills
  • Will be able to organise their workload to meet tight deadlines
  • Will be personable with a detail orientated approach
  • Will have a desire for business development
  • A following of clients to bring to the practice is desirable but not essential
